Red Ribbon Week is an annual campaign sponsored by the National Family Partnership to create awareness to their mission of supporting families and communities in nurturing the full potential of healthy, drug-free youth. The right to request info about your child's teacher

As a parent in a Title I school, ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) allows you to request information about your child’s teacher. Every school system that receives Title I funds must ensure that all teachers were highly qualified. Continual and constant communications between educators, parents, and the community should always be an integral component of the school program. The reform of this law gives you the right to ask for and receive information about the professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teacher

United Way Fundraising Success!

Greenwood students and faculty held successful events to help raise money for United Way through Coin Wars and Dodgeball towards the end of September. Students put money into jars with faculty members pictures to help faculty members avoid being tortured with blindfolded taste testing, as well as, sumo wrestling suits! GES raised $325 for Coin Wars and $448 for a Dodgeball Tournament!
