The right to request info about your child's teacher

As a parent in a Title I school, ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) allows you to request information about your child’s teacher. Every school system that receives Title I funds must ensure that all teachers were highly qualified. Continual and constant communications between educators, parents, and the community should always be an integral component of the school program. The reform of this law gives you the right to ask for and receive information about the professional qualifications of your child’s classroom teacher
