Report Cards went home today as well as permission slips that will need to be returned. Next week, we only have school Monday and Tuesday. No Tutoring or Rock Creek Church. Tuesday we are Turkey Bowling! $1 Casual, $1 to Bowl and $1 Snacks for sale. All proceeds to benefit DIS families in need. Thank you!

Congratulations to Ms. Jennifer Jones, Special Subjects Teacher at Deal Island Elementary School, for being recognized by Kappa Delta Pi: Rho Eta Chapter of Salisbury University as an alumni who embodies the ideals of professional development, community service, and leadership in her career on the Eastern Shore! She received her award at the recent E. Pauline Riall Lecture Dinner.
This upcoming week, we have our Books & Breakfast event on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:15. Please turn in your RSVPs by Tuesday! Our shirt sales will end on November 15th. We need 22 more T-shirts and 13 long sleeve sales in order to print. We are closed on 22nd-24th for Thanksgiving break. Have a great week!

Congratulations to Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Pusey! Mrs. Jones is receiving an award from Salisbury University for her success in her academic career. Mrs. Pusey is receiving an award from the Community Foundation to support her goal of supporting early childhood families. Both will be awarded and celebrated on Thursday evening! We are so proud of our DIS ladies!

Back by popular demand, the T-Shirts and Long Sleeve shirts are for sale again! The shirts will be on sale for three weeks. All orders are due by November 15th. Shirts are expected to arrive the first week of December. T-Shirts are $15 and Long Sleeve shirts are $20. They are broken into two different links but will all arrive together. We need 38 T-Shirts and 32 Long Sleeves to be sold in order to ship! To make the process easier, please include in your notes who the order is for! Thank you so much!
