Mrs. Sproul’s fifth graders have been busy exploring how different parts of Earth work together!
They made cool models to show how the atmosphere (wind) and the hydrosphere (water) interact with the geosphere (sand and land). 🌍💨💦🏖️

GES students had an awesome time at their Octoberfest PBIS Incentive! 🍂🎉 They celebrated all their good choices with fall festivities! 🍁✨

✨Congratulations to our October Writing Contest winners! These creative authors spun spooky tales that showed off their narrative writing skills. We’re so proud of you!📝🎃🕸️

🗣️ Civic Engagement in Action! 🏛️
Ms. Bakewell’s 2nd grade class has been learning all about civic engagement — how to share their voices and make their opinions heard!
To put their learning into action, the students held a mock town hall meeting where Dr. Gibson served as the Mayor. The young “citizens” shared their ideas and debated two exciting options for improving their school: fixing the blacktop and adding basketball hoops 🏀 or building an outdoor classroom 🌳.
Our second graders did an amazing job speaking up, listening respectfully, and learning what it means to be active members of a community! 💙
