📚✨ We had so much fun celebrating Read Across America Week at GES! We wrapped up the week with our amazing 3rd Grade Living Wax Museum, wonderful guest readers, the Book Fair, and a fun-filled Spirit Week! Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate our love of reading at GES! ❤️📖🦅

🎨🏰 GES Pop-Up 4th Grade Art Show! 🏰🎨 Our 4th graders explored the Medieval Art period and created incredible castle sculptures inspired by Romanesque and Gothic architecture. 🏰✨ Students in Miss Wheatley and Mr. Davis’s classes also designed mini acrylic paintings on canvas during art stations with Mrs. Brumley. 🎨🖌️ We are so proud of our talented GES artists! 💛🦅

We’ve officially kicked off our 📚 Read Across America celebration and it has been SO much fun! 🎉✨ Our students have loved exploring the Book Fair 📖, listening to amazing guest readers 👏, and dressing up to show their love for reading during the first two days!❤️📚 We can’t wait for more reading fun ahead! 📚

Due to the fog and visibility in our area, all Elementary After-School Programs are cancelled for tonight.
